Our buildings have won numerous architectural awards for their innovative designs, which inspire both teachers and pupils to creatively engage with their subjects.
Our pupils have an abundance of green spaces available to them. With our Home Ground and large Jubilee Sports Ground and Pavilion, our idyllic pitches provide the perfect location for sports training and weekly matches, and cross country takes place in the beautiful South Downs National Park.
Our pupils have their own vegetable garden, where we host a weekly gardening club, growing food that is used in our kitchens that our full-time in-house Nutritionist loves.
Our coastal location allows pupils to enjoy a wide range of learning experiences. Just a short stroll to the seafront is the vibrant Yellowave Beach Sports Venue – a national centre for beach volleyball development. Pupils can enjoy a game of volleyball with friends before enjoying a delicious woodfired pizza from the beach café.
Next door is the brand new Sea Lanes pool – the National Open Water Swimming Centre: a 50-metre, six lane, heated outdoor swimming pool right on our doorstep, combining with our own state-of-the-art Lido and the sea to provide the ultimate swimming opportunities for pupils at the College.
Not only are we central in the city of Brighton, we are within sight of the sea and walking distance of the South Downs countryside – the perfect location to inspire our pupils.
The best way to experience what life is like at Brighton College is to join us at an Open Morning, where you will have the chance to talk to pupils and teachers about what makes our school such a special place, and to answer any questions you have about life here.
