We are here to help with the future aspirations of our pupils and are committed to helping you achieve the university place of your choice, wherever in the world that may be.

We are specialists in all UK university applications, including Oxford and Cambridge, and have extensive experience in successfully placing pupils at prominent US, Canadian and European universities. With the wider Sixth Form team, we continue to support Brightonians after they have left the College and remain very much connected to them via our own Brighton College Connect and LinkedIn websites.

Brighton College supports every pupil to reach the university of their choice. We have dedicated applications experts in all subject areas, led by our two Directors of Global Futures, and including a Head of Medical Applications and a Head of Engineering Applications.

Around one third of our applicants are offered places at Oxford or Cambridge every year, with around 700 offers received annually from Russell Group universities. While Oxbridge remains the top destination overall for our Sixth Formers, we are delighted that our pupils are winning places at almost every one of the global top 30 universities. The US and Canada are ever-more popular destinations for Brightonians, with offers from Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Columbia, UC Berkeley and Toronto among other eminent North American institutions in this year’s application cycle alone.

As the perfect stepping stone to university, our Sixth Form gives you the tools you need for a successful future. When it comes to choosing the right university and getting you there, our programme of support is second to none.

The Beyond Brighton programme explores university and career options and also develops important life skills, such as cooking quick and nutritious meals, self-defence, first aid and money management.

Our Mind the Gap conference, organised by our wellbeing officers and in conjunction with MIND, will help you manage the transition from school to university – from supporting friends to looking after mental health at university.

The Brighton College Futures Conference gives in-depth insights on a range of careers. All panellists have real-world advice and information, and the conference ends with a networking event, giving you a wonderful opportunity to make useful connections for future work placements.

Our Old Brightonian network provides all our current and former pupils with an international network of individuals, who share opportunities and experiences through our network and across a number of global social events. We also have an annual Futures Conference where Old Brightonians and industry leaders from our parent body give talks on their wide variety of careers.

Whether it’s finding an internship, preparing for a job interview or making connections with experts in the field, you will find this community invaluable.

The best way to experience what life is like at Brighton College Sixth Form is to join us at an Open Morning, where you will have the chance to talk to pupils and teachers about what makes our school such a special place, and to answer any questions you have about life here.
