Our Location

We are also within walking distance of the South Downs countryside and the famous Brighton Palace Pier. Our pupils have the unique opportunity to explore the vibrant city life and the surrounding area's natural beauty, providing a well-rounded educational experience.

Our coastal location allows pupils to enjoy a wide range of learning experiences. Children are encouraged to explore the natural resources on our doorstep and are inspired to develop a deep love of outdoor learning.

Blue spaces, such as the sea, improve mental health and overall wellbeing, especially when combined with physical activity.  Our Beach School is an integral part of our curriculum from Nursery to Year 6. It is the setting for yoga, breathwork, watercolour painting, palaeontology, beach volleyball, and marine biology lessons.

The school promotes public transport, walking, and cycling to school. There are many cycle paths across the city, and with dedicated safe crossing points surrounding the school, pupils arrive at school safely and well. We have teachers on hand for pupils arriving by car to meet and greet your child and ensure they arrive at their classroom safely.

Many pupils, from Year 4 upwards, travel to school using our extensive minibus network. Awarded an Eco-Schools Green Flag, the school is proud of its travel plan, which is designed to promote active, sustainable, and safe travel to and from school.
