Brighton College Prep School provides children with a happy and caring community in which to grow and learn by the seaside. Curiosity thrives in a vibrant and forward thinking co-educational environment.
The ideal way to get to know us is at one of our Open Mornings, or on a personal visit with our Head of Admissions.
To register your child for a place in any of our year groups, please complete our UK Registration Form.
All children who apply for a place will be invited to the Prep School for an assessment session.
For younger pupils applying to the Nursery and Reception, this will consist of a 45-minute taster session with children of a similar age, to determine their readiness to thrive in our setting. Teachers will assess communication and language skills, confidence in undertaking tasks, interaction and social skills, as well as their levels of concentration and co-operation.
We invite all children registered Years 1 to 6 in to school to meet our staff and pupils and to complete standardised assessments in English, maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
Following successful assessment, an offer of a place will be made. Places for our Pre-Prep & Prep classes are normally offered at the end of January. Following your confirmation of acceptance, we will send you an information pack and an invitation to meet your child's teacher and classmates at the end of the summer term.
