After months of hard work on our robot, and thanks to the support of our sponsors, Brighton College Robotics Team went to the FIRST Robotics Competition in Ankara, Turkey.
Our team got through the qualifications round to make it to the finals. We fought hard against the 1st Alliance, beating them in one of three matches, before eventually seceding in the finals round.
This has been the Club’s best performance so far – winning both the finalist’s award and the creativity award for our robot’s unique yet effective design. We are looking forward to bringing this success with us into the next season and pushing ourselves even further.
