England Rugby in the NASH with Richard Cairns and Nick Buoy

Earlier this week, we once again welcomed the England Rugby squad to the College as they prepare for the Rugby World Cup 2023 in France later this year. They worked hard enjoying the School of Science and Sport’s facilities and our Home Ground over a four-day period, raising the eye of many a pupil!

And those very same pupils said it was inspirational to watch the team train and meet players between sessions, including Old Brightonian Marcus Smith (Leconfield 2011-17) who was in the squad for their trip down to the Sussex seaside.

We wish England all the best at the Rugby World Cup - hopefully using Brighton College as their base has the same effect as it did for Japan in the 2015 World Cup, when they executed the biggest upset in rugby history! We thank them for their wonderful co-operation in what is a richly exciting time for the College.
