Brighton College is delighted to have received an unprecedented three accolades in The Sunday Times Parent Power Schools Guide: UK Boarding School of the Year 2025, Top School of the Year for A-levels 2025 and Top Academic School in South East England 2025.
The Sunday Times rankings also place Brighton College as the Top Co-Educational School in the UK.
Youth Commonwealth Games silver medallist Miles is delighted to have achieved sensational results in his A-levels.
Miles was recently selected for the Youth Talent Pathway run by England Athletics, which is an excellent stepping stone to transition from junior to senior athlete. In May, Miles received a coveted SportsAid Award from UK Athletics. The implications of this award are vast, as SportsAid athletes are only nominated if they have substantial potential to advance along the Olympic pathway.
Miles reflected on opening his results: “Mainly surprised! I wasn’t quite expecting to do so well, given my commitments to athletics. But to open the envelope and see better results than the ones I was prepared for is quite an exciting feeling!”
Having been crowned the second fastest U18 800m runner in the Commonwealth at the Youth Commonwealth Games last year in Trinidad and Tobago, Miles was recently appointed to the Commonwealth Games Advisory Group – one of many sparkling achievements Miles has earned during his time at Brighton College.
He is now targeting success at the U20 World Championships in August, as he continues to stake his claim as one of the leading young track athletes not just in the country, but in the Commonwealth.
