Pupils in climbing harnesses and helmets enjoying exploring on their Geography Trip to Iceland

Located on a rift between tectonic plates, Iceland's geologic activity includes geysers and frequent volcanic eruptions. In other words, it is the perfect destination for our annual Geography trip!

It was a chilly yet stunning few days for our pupils, who were presented with the opportunity of seeing some truly incredible sights.

Exploring the mesmerising Thingvellir National Park and Eldfell Volcano, in addition to other landforms and rock formations, everyone came away from it with mesmerised minds at the sheer natural beauty of the country.

Thank you to all our teachers for your superb organisation and professionalism, and indeed to our pupils who were a joy to be with throuoghout the trip.
