Pupils are celebrating today after receiving an astonishing 43 offers from either the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge – the highest number in the College’s history. We are immensely proud of our pupils - a huge congratulations!
We had the pleasure of welcoming the Ayoub Sisters to teach in a Masterclass before performing an evening concert.
In the Masterclass, four brilliant chamber groups performed for the Ayoub Sisters, playing a variety of pieces, and gaining as many tips as was possible.
Pupils were offered expert advice about both musicality and technique, helping them to play better as an ensemble and improve their skills individually to become more virtuosic.
Later in the evening, our guests performed in the SARH, playing a series of brilliant pieces - from their own original compositions with twists on traditional tunes to Rasputin.
We thank the Ayoub Sisters for coming and hope that they enjoyed the day as much as we did.
