Our pupils recently embarked on a French immersion trip to Nice, a city known for its beautiful bay, historic charm and lively atmosphere, nestled between the sea and the mountains.
They stayed with host families and attended a French language school, with lessons conducted entirely in French.
Other aspects of French culture were explored every afternoon after lunch. Pupils took part in a walking tour of the historic Old Town, learning about the rich history of this part of the coast, particularly during the Belle Époque, from one of the enthusiastic French teachers at the language school. After the tour, they made their way to the top of the Colline du Château to admire the spectacular view over the Baie des Anges.
