Winners of the Ros Nichol award in the Quad with their certificates

Thank you to all the Upper Fifth and Lower Sixth pupils who entered The Ros Nichol Award this year.

The Award was established in memory of Ros Nichol, who was a much-loved modern languages teacher at Brighton College. It is awarded to pupils who submit an excellent application about how they would use the award money to pursue an exciting activity or project outside of their academic studies.

Congratulations to this year’s winners who are:

  • Datis for his ambitious plans to create a device to assist blind and visually impaired people.
  • Hugo for his trip to attend the Climate Vulnerable Forum in Accra later this year.
  • Ayumi for her work on creating accessible English language tuition to students in Japan.
  • YuNing for her inspiring plans to fundraise money for Shooting Star Children’s  Hospice through crochet.
