Pupils are celebrating today after receiving an astonishing 43 offers from either the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge – the highest number in the College’s history. We are immensely proud of our pupils - a huge congratulations!
Since December last year, each member of Ryle House has made the effort to run, jog, walk, cycle and swim a combined total of 8203km in support of Brighton Women’s Centre (BWC).
The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness and funds for this incredibly worthy charity that plays a vital role in supporting women affected by domestic abuse and violence in our community.
The significance of the 8203km target is rooted in the alarming fact that 8,203 women between the ages of 16-74 reported domestic abuse and violence in Brighton and Hove in the past year.Last Sunday, in a culmination of our efforts, pupils and staff from Ryle completed a 10km run/jog/walk from Peacehaven to the College.
A great time was had by all!
