Pupils are celebrating today after receiving an astonishing 43 offers from either the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge – the highest number in the College’s history. We are immensely proud of our pupils - a huge congratulations!
Our Year 6 pupils were off to Snowdonia for their exciting residential trip, and their spirits were high throughout the week. The first full day saw six groups set off in different directions to spend the day on their feet, climbing through mines, scrambling along gorges, building a zip line across a ravine, canoeing, fire-building, marshmallow tasting, and jumping in lakes.
We were so proud to see our pupils overcoming previous fears to complete new challenges, including abseiling and various water challenges. The groups rotated and tried new activities, with some in the mines, some on the water, some up the gorge, and one doing some bushcraft and climbing. The evening finished with some indoor challenges as the rain came down. They were all sad that the adventure ended, but that's a testament to such an incredible week. It was then time to say goodbye to the Welsh mountains and their wonderful instructors for the week. But not until they had a fun morning to finish. ; Weaselling, hiking and bushcraft were on the agenda to complete the activities before they headed home back to Brighton.
