Winners of the South Coast 7s Rugby Tournament standing on the pitch celebrating with their medals

This year saw incredible results for the senior rugby teams, all of whom were unbeaten this season.

Our outstanding 1st, 2nd and 3rd XV teams won every match in the Michaelmas and Hilary terms - a very special achievement from a brilliant group of players.

30 matches. 30 victories. The 1st XV won all 11 of their matches, with the smallest deficit of vicotry being an impressive 12 points.

This coincides with a stellar Six Nations for Old Brightonian Marcus Smith, who snatched victory for England against Ireland with a dramatic drop goal in the final seconds of the match.

There was victory also for our 1st VII rugby team at the South Coast 7s tournament. Led by captain James, there was some outstanding rugby on display as Alex scooped the Player of the Tournament award.

We are immensely proud of all our rugby teams at the College for their hard work and deidication, but a special nod must go to this year's band of special senior teams who have continued their success right into their final years with us.
