Pupils are celebrating today after receiving an astonishing 43 offers from either the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge – the highest number in the College’s history. We are immensely proud of our pupils - a huge congratulations!
We are incredibly proud of those of our Upper Sixth who have already received US university offers.
These offers represent incredible successes for our pupils, particularly considering that the ‘admit rate’ at most of these institutions is far more challenging than at any UK university – some of the institutions our pupils have received offers from have success rates of below 6%.
The US is a growing area of interest for our pupils, who value the academic rigour, research opportunities and broad curriculum offered by many US institutions, alongside the focus on co-curricular and campus life.
We are also expecting lots more exciting news from our applicants in the months ahead, with more universities publishing their decisions up until April, but in the meantime we congratulate the pupils most warmly.
