The atmosphere was energetic at the Young Musician of the Year Advanced and Intermediate Finals. There was a fantastic programme filled with various instruments and styles of music, with each musician bringing something unique and special to the stage.
There were so many amazing performances, and we were delighted that The Ayoub Sisters were able to return to the College to adjudicate. They gave our musicians insightful and constructive feedback, helping them to understand how to further improve their performances.
Well done to our Advanced musicians Georgie, who was crowned Singer of the Year, and Dorothy, who took home the Young Musician of the Year trophy for her stunning performance on cello, and to our Intermediate Young Musician of the Year, Audrey, who wowed the judges with an energetic and fast-paced Allegro appassionato
by Saint-Saëns.
The whole evening was a wonderful array of music; the vibrant atmosphere created a truly terrific concert!
