Pupils in Year 7 have been learning about the Memphis design movement from the early 1980s. They have enjoyed discovering the wacky, wonderful, and iconic furniture designs of the time. Pupils have been tasked with reviving the design movement and creating their own Memphis-style furniture. They are building quick prototypes and small-scale furniture using a variety of materials and techniques to recreate their piece of modern history.
